I feel honored to tell you the story of an enigmatic people and their remarkable accomplishments. I won't tell you a dry set of facts. Instead, I will tell it from the heart.
I'll keep it brief. You'll reach the end in about 5 minutes! I promise to surprise you. I must tell you now, it's a true story of greatness and sorrow.
At the end, you'll find my own Hopewell museum. It has Hopewell related links and some beautiful Hopewell art. I have answers to your questions. It's free and I think you'll be intrigued.
You can't go to the museum yet! The story must be told first. At the end, you'll understand why. You can add the museum to your favorites once you get there.
One last important note!
All of this was inspired by the television series "Rediscovering America". It was written and hosted by a remarkable man named Roger Kennedy. I was so moved by it, I sculpted my own Hopewell replicas.
Several museums ended up ordering them from me. Some replicas made it to Roger Kennedy. We corresponded, and had enthused phone conversations. I was flattered that Roger Kennedy, former director of The Smithsonian Institute, took time to write and call me.
Roger gets full credit for you and I being here. The Hopewell have a voice here. They want you to know what happed. Please now, follow with me - you may hear them whisper.
